| IF YOU'RE BROKE WE CAN'T FIX IT: (4—2004) (AKA Ernie's Shell station) Every time we skipped school we would go down to Ernie's and just hang around. He would tell us endless stories about when he was a kid and how he fixed up that Buick and got his Dad to give it to him. His Dad was tired of catching him "stealing it" at night so he could go out with Sally Smothers. Sally was the town's 'hot item' and loved to go parkin' and the Buick did just the trick. Ernie is old now and can't fix anything, so if you're broke you got to go over to Jim's ESSO. Cars: 34 Buick, 30 Model A, 38 Pontiac . 39 Chrysler. Animals: cat, bird. One toy airplane. |
